Color Families

We are learning about the different color families and using those color pallets in these projects. Primary, secondary, intermediate, neutral, complementary, hot and cold colors. 

Creating Lines and Shapes with our "Magic Beaded Lines"

"Selfies" with line and shape

We are creating self portraits focusing on line and shape. Line and shape is our objective for this month. The students will be doing 3 during the year and comparing all three at the end of the year.  With the first self portrait, each student had template to help them draw the parts and proportions of their face. Mr. Hay helped the students out with drawing their hair. The goal was to have this portrait "kind of" look like them. Same skin, hair, eye color and hair style and texture.
